Social Media Marketing Specialist / Copy Writer

The Social Media Marketing Specialist is responsible for researching and creating high quality content for Social Media Channels (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Google+, etc…) maintaining the tone of voice consistent with the client’s vision and mission. The content specialist.
Primary Responsibilities
-Writes blogs, articles and ads for client’s social media channels (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Pinterest)
-Creates content for Social Media channels daily, ensuring that the information is current, accurate and structured appropriately
– Proofreads and SEO (search engine optimize) each article to include specific key words
-follows customer centric content publishing workflow – ensures approvals are received prior to going live
-Collaborates with creative team and customer marketing team on regular basis
-Creates and pitch press releases and media advisories for new partnerships and events
-Develops content for proposals and presentations
-Keeps up-to-date with best practices in writing for the web, internal publications, social media trends, and business/industry trends
Required Qualifications 
-0-2 years of experience
-Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills in Arabic 7 English, French is a plus.
-Ability to engage audience with excellent communication skills while precisely communicating a message using Arabic (Egyptian) or English
-Expert in social media strategies and content creation
-Basic knowledge of HTML and XML
-Basic knowledge of SEO
-Proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite, the MS Office Suite and desktop publishing programs like Publisher
-Strong experience with online writing techniques as well as traditional promotional content
-Multitasking and problem solving abilities
-Excellent planning and prioritization skills
-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the field of copy-writing, content development, journalism or similar.
